IS YOUR TO-DO LIST OVERWHELMING ?

Did you ever feel so overwhelmed or ever noticed that your to-do list is so flooded, that it effects your physical and mental response ? It’s nothing new in getting our to-do list over flooded that it becomes out of control sometimes. In fact in some cases, it becomes from ‘I can do it’ to ‘It’s not in my control, i cannot’, we become so panic. Sometimes it becomes so overwhelming that it may take you out of your track and it feels like you’re not going to do any of those.




This happens mostly with people because they try to put things off rather than working on it. They do not even try to find the root cause of the problem and just get it off from there. This causes things to build up to the point where they’re no longer manageable. Here are some reasons why people make this happen ?

Lack of discipline. I’ll do it later. Depending upon some other time always.

Fear of failure. I’m not sure about it, whether I’ll be succeed or not, so I shouldn’t even try it once.

Wishful thinking. If I’ll stop thinking about it, may be it will disappear.

Feeling overwhelmed. This procedure seems out of control. I’ll try this some other time.

Fear of complexity. I don’t know from where to begin.

Lack of motivation. I cannot find it interesting.

Feeling bored. I’m now bored of doing this.

Lack of urgency. It really doesn’t matter if I do it now. It’s not due for days.

Fear of making a decision. I need to know more about it and get more information about it before I start.

Working under pressure. I’ll do it when the deadline is on my head, till then I can relax.
