Are you using every opportunity to prepare yourself for the game of life? There are many ways to teach yourself a valuable lessons. Teach yourself, that success doesn’t come easily neither it can be bought, you have to earn it. Life is a continuing competition in which excellence wins. So if you aren’t using every opportunity to prepare yourself for the game of life, you are being cheated out of something very special.




People aren’t born with self-confidence or with a positive attitude; they don’t automatically know how to conquer fear, overcome obstacles, or snatch victory from the jaws of defeat; they don’t always know what it’s like to come back after failure or to show grace after a terrible loss. These skills are learned. So if you aren’t using every opportunity to prepare yourself for the game of life, you are being cheated out of something very special. Do a favor to yourself and teach yourself how to become a winner because even though it’s great to win a game, it’s even better to be a superstar in life.

Things that can encourage you for the game of life :

  • Attitude is everything. Be positive and surround yourself with the positive vibes. Set high expectations and goals. Replace negative thinking with a can-do attitude.
  • Winning is as much mental as physical. Control your actions and emotions. Stay focused, active and disciplined.
  • Few things come easy in life. Success is achieved through hard work, strive and determination. It takes many years to become a successful person.
  • Always do your best. Aim high and never compromise with the second best. Strive for continuous improvement in everything you do.
  • View obstacles as opportunities. When barriers get in your way, find a way around them and use them to learn and develop. Don’t feel demotivated, it makes you weak.
  • Keep your perspective. Competition will test your patience. So, be calm, patient, and in control when it matters most.
  • Be a leader. Set high hopes and standards of excellence for yourself and as well as for others. Make people feel special and help in bringing out the best in everyone.
  • Learn to forgive. Forgive the mistakes or misunderstandings of others. It may be your error that costs the team tomorrow. It will make you more bearable than weak.
  • Support others in need. Real friends are available in good times and also in bad. So offer your teammates that support which they are looking for, especially when they had a bad time and they need you most.
  • Say “no” to unhealthy behavior. Take care of your body. It’s the only one you’ve got.
